Designed specifically for elementary students, Ages 7–13, our 7 Notes Daytime Homeschool program brings kids together to discover music literacy, ear training, and keyboard harmony in an inspiring, safe, state-of-the-art studio setting. Built on the internationally recognized Yamaha Music Education System and backed by over 13 years of studio excellence serving Frisco and Plano, this Global curriculum goes far beyond casual software drills or isolated piano labs. We teach children how to truly listen, sing, play, read and express music with confidence.
Thursday Class Options
7 Notes Yamaha Elementary Group Piano
- Yamaha Ear Training & Solfège: Developing pitch accuracy and a musical ear through singing and ear-to-keyboard translation.
- Proper Technique & Posture: Building healthy hand shape, wrist flexibility, and touch control at the keys.
- Music Literacy & Notation: Learning to read treble and bass clef, key signatures, and rhythmic structures seamlessly.
- Fun Ensemble & Keyboard Harmony: Playing multi-part arrangements with peers to build timing, focus, and musical teamwork.
Strum & Play (Group Guitar)
Instruction: Led by our university-trained guitar specialist who excels at keeping fundamental technique engaging, structured and encourages young players.
Acoustic Technique & Hand Position: Building proper finger placement, wrist alignment, and clean fretting to ensure comfortable, strain-free playing.
Rhythmic Strumming & Chords: Mastering essential open chords, strumming dynamics, and steady timing to play real songs right away.
Music Literacy & Notation: Learning to read standard notation, chord charts, and basic tablature step-by-step.
Ensemble & Harmony: Playing multi-part chord and melody arrangements with peers to build active listening and musical teamwork.
Note: 1-on-1 Private Lessons for Piano and Guitar are also available during Daytime hours for non-beginner students (Ages 12+).
